The cabin has gas lights, gas stove and gas refrigerator. Heat is a thermostatically controlled Monitor heater. The cabin has three bunk beds (sleeps six) in a common area. The cooking area is in a separate room. There is an open porch with a barbeque grill and a picnic table for “stay dry” outdoor cooking.

There are two aluminum 14’ boats, two 17’ Old Town Sport square stern canoes, Two regular canoes and one Kayak. All boats are free. Motors are $40.00 per day per motor.

Henderson is loaded with scrappy native brook trout. It is very good fly fishing especially in the evening. The IF&W rules for the pond are: artificial lures only, five fish limit, six inch minimum length, maximum length is twelve inches (no fish over 12 inches may be kept).” We encourage the keeping of legal length fish. This is the most common rule on ponds in Northern Maine.
